Sick of hearing about Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Wasted-Money Wednesday? Of course you are. This is why Spectral Zoology is having Transparent Tuesday, not just on Tuesday, but all week. For this week we offer free shipping. Go ahead, ask us to ship at many as you want. We aren't afraid. Actually, we're only little bit afraid.
Your animal guide could certainly be a sponge. Did you know that some dolphins put a sponge on their nose (rostrum) to protect the skin while foraging for food? Interesting, eh? By the way, in case you haven't been checking in, you can now order your Spectral Zoology card decks on the "Store" tab.
Meanwhile, revisit this short film from our first blog post: Tarsier eats grasshopper. Some of my favorite creatures are in Australia. Here is a shaky video of a cassowary at Cape Tribulation. These people are fortunate that the bird wasn't upset and didn't use its razor sharp foot claw. I visited this beach in early 2014 but did not see a cassowary.
A printer delay is moving card arrival to next week. Take your mind off that and take a look at this Mexican salamander, also called the Axolotl (water monster). Your personal spirit animal guide might be this unusual worm-eating amphibian.
The first card decks are slated to arrive the first week of November, and sales should begin shortly thereafter. Just in time for New Years - Christmas - Chanukah - Kwanzaa - Solstice - Flobulation. That's right, I made up the last one.
Expect them by the end of October or early November.
