The first card decks are slated to arrive the first week of November, and sales should begin shortly thereafter. Just in time for New Years - Christmas - Chanukah - Kwanzaa - Solstice - Flobulation. That's right, I made up the last one.
An Indonesian macaque took a photographer's camera and snapped photos of itself. Because the photographer did not take the picture, and because monkeys are not allowed copyrights, the photo is in the public domain, unless a court rules otherwise.
If you took every human being on earth and piled us on top of a giant scale to weigh, do you know what you’d have? You’d have a terrible mess. Also, according to one estimate, the scale would read about 350 million metric tons. The number is continually growing as the human population increases. Now, slide the humans off the scale (put them into a giant mixing bowl) and weigh all the termites in the world. You’d get about 445 million metric tons. More than the humans.
Next, take the termites off the scale and put them into the bowl with the humans. Now it’s time to weigh all of the Antarctic krill in the oceans. Result: 379 million metric tons - somewhere between the weight of people and termites.
Put the krill into the mixing bowl with the rest and stir it up thoroughly. Add a vinaigrette and serve at room temperature. You have a high-protein squirmy salad that weighs more than a billion tons. Bon appétit.
